Exactly this is the reason why the most recent Poirot adaption with Kenneth Brannagh has been such a train wreck of a movie. Brannagh´s Poirot is chasing suspects, he is fighting, he is running around. That is not Poirot!

I wonder if the screenwriter actually has read a single Poirot novel before writing the skript for this movie.
